Kroy K-Series Labelers

Left: Shrink Tubes are used to mark and identify
wire. Shrink tubes provide a durable, long lasting identification
label for wires.
Right: Self-laminating wire wraps are used
to identify cables. Wire wraps are used for larger diameters than
shrink tubes and can be applied after the wire or cable has been
terminated.

 |
Left: Self-laminating
wire wraps can be used to label bundles of wires or cables.
Right: Self-laminating wire wraps can be
hand marked before the clear laminate is wraped over the opaque
portion of the label.

 |
Shrink tube labels are printed and then slipped over
the end of the wire. A heat gun is used to shrink
the tube to a tight fit on the wire. Shrin tube labels can not slip or
come off the wire.
Wire wraps are used for larger diameter cables
and for labeling wires and cables after they have been terminated (you
can not slip a shrink tube over the end of a wire that is terminated).
Information is printed on an opaque white section of the label, then a
clear "tail" is wrapped around the wire or cable, to cover and
protect the printed portion of the label.
